CRO-MATH-IN

The CRO-MATH-IN association was founded with the goal of promoting, developing and advancing mathematics as a profession, and especially its application to solving industrial and socially relevant professional and scientific problems. The Association, in compliance with its goals, actively acts in the fields of science, education, and industrial applications.

CRO-MATH-IN is a member of the European network EU-MATHS-IN.

EU-MATHS-IN offers OpenDesk - a one-stop-shop service that easily connects companies with researchers in the field of industrial mathematics.

Goals of the Association

Activities related to strengthening the interest and gathering scientists and experts who work in the field of applied and industrial mathematics and mathematical statistics.
Encouraging awareness of the role and application of mathematics in the development of society.
Encouraging and improving education, scientific research and practical application of research in the field of applied and industrial mathematics and mathematical statistics.
Achieving cooperation between scientific disciplines involved in mathematics and mathematical statistics in order to more successfully solve complex problems.

Activities of the Association

Gathering of scientists, experts, researchers and teachers dealing with all areas of applied and industrial mathematics, and mathematical statistics.
Informing the public about tasks and topics in the field of applied and industrial mathematics, and mathematical statistics in the country and abroad through professional articles and publications, printed and electronic media, and through press releases and documents on the website.
Encouraging scientific research in the field of applied and industrial mathematics, and mathematical statistics.
Assisting teachers in introducing new ideas and modern methods in teaching applied and industrial mathematics, and mathematical statistics.
Connecting and cooperating with other related organizations in the country and abroad, popularizing and disseminating knowledge.

Economic activities of the Association

Organizing and holding regular and occasional scientific and professional meetings, lectures, symposia and seminars, in accordance with regulations.
Organizing competitions in solving industrial and socially relevant problems.
Providing advisory services to industry and government agencies.
Publishing printed publications, books, monographs and magazines in the field of its activity in accordance with the goals and field of activity of the Association.
Providing computer programming and consultancy services relating to computers, with special emphasis on data engineering and machine learning.
